Well, I was at my favorite grocery store in Jerusalem (clean, spacious aisles, good selection, lots of free parking and, of course, inexpensive) when I came across this doozy. Ah, I just can't get enough of this stuff. It seems the coconut did something, and they just had to reassure us that yes, punitive action had been taken.
Sad, really. Poor coconut.

Maybe it fell on Gilligan's head...
Hi - I didn't see it as the coconut was naughty and got itself grounded.
I thought it meant that the coconut is down to earth, stable and well grounded....
Dave - ha!
Jo - you obviously have a far more positive outlook on life than I do :)
It should be grounded. That stuff is awful. I prefer grated. Grate stuff.
Varda, nice to see you!
And as a fellow food snob, where do you find grated coconut? I bet that would make much better macaroons...
Shredded--now THAT makes great (or grater) macaroons.
My first contextual frame was electrically grounded - but coconut isn't conductive!
They sell shredded coconut over here all over. Actually, you have to search for the, ah, grounded, stuff. *tangent* Which, by the way, I've used in gluten-free flour mixes as a flavor/texture booster. I'd never dream of trying to use it for macaroons! */tangent*
